Buckle up, you’ve got quite a post coming!
pondering moment of the week: food for thought
Krispy Kreme is opening a hole in the wall which dispenses Nutella doughnuts
I don’t know about you, but Garry and I are clearly fine with this. I sense an upcoming wave of happiness catchups with the team gravitating towards Holborn over the next few days… Just sayin’ 🙂
it’s not gluttony: it’s non-chocolate cake
And since we’re on the topic of fat-related and very important matters, behold what I took home last Friday:
And “why?”, I hear you ask? Well, let’s just say that on a couple of previous occasions, some cake sellers advertised certain types of cake like “Oreo cake” or “Peanut Butter cake” and we ended up having “plain old chocolate cake”. “Why does that matter?”, I hear you ask? Mostly because I’m a strange being that doesn’t really enjoy chocolate cake as much as the rest of the world. So, in good MetaBroadcast fashion, go big or go home—and there I was, needing a taxi to go home!
That wasn’t the only “party” we had on Friday. This also happened:
once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it: llámame alpaca dias
Public disclaimer: The following images may be considered disturbing or distressing by some viewers. Viewers discretion is advised. Proceed at your own risk. You may want to grab sun glasses or some form of eye-protection against the imminent sparkle explosion. But first…
While on the topic of Friday’s parties… meet Dias.
Dias likes coding, drinks with his friends, and Luke. He also loves the :llama: Slack emoji we have, and occasionally is also in disguise.
Chances are you may be partially and temporarily blinded by all the shiny llamas (or alpacas) Dias likes so much! Every week, upon announcing who’s that week’s Foodie Friday winner we all brace for llama-impact as we’ve grown used to his enthusiastic llama bombs over Slack!
Of course, when Dias is our winner, chat goes a little crazy, in the form of llamas, as does his praise!
laughter is the best medicine
Because laughter really is the best medicine and feel like you need something else to purge your eyes from the video you just watched, here’s a cute one. Thanks to Lavanya‘s BB-8, we were able to transform several adults into giggly children for a few minutes.
