atlas release notes - week to 24th april

Here are the Atlas release notes for the week to 24th April.

We’ve made some significant improvements to channels this week, which are detailed below and are available to use on production:

• Channel groups: groups of channels that define platforms and regions
  • http://atlas.metabroadcast.com/3.0/channel_groups.json
• An available_from attribute, which is a list of the publishers who publish data for a channel
• Channels.json can now be filtered using a number of query parameters:
  • broadcaster (e.g. bbc.co.uk)
  • media_type (e.g. audio)
  • available_from (e.g. bbc.co.uk)
  • platforms (takes a list of ids for channel groups of type platform)
  • regions (takes a list of ids for channel groups of type region)
• Channels.json now has a new channel_groups annotation
• Channels.json can now be ordered using an order_by parameter (e.g. title or title.reverse)
• The limit parameter on channels.json now has a max value of 100

We have also released the following to production:

• Improvements to BBC clip ingest
• Improvements to BBC on demand ingest

We focussed on getting things out to production this week, so there’s nothing additional to add for staging.
